DEVELOPMENT OF THE TRANSDUCER FOR TANK FLOOR INSPECTION BASED ON MAGNETIC FLUX LEAKAGE TESTING

Magnetic flux leakage (MFL) testing is one of the most important methods for tank floor inspection. Traditional transducers were often designed by experiments. Finite element software ANSYS was used to optimize the parameters of the magnetizing system. The circuits for detecting, post-processing and data acquisition were designed, and a transducer were developed. Experiments showed that the transducer had good sensitivity.
