Knowledge Representation from a Knowledge Engineering Point of View

The capturing of human knowledge in expertsystems for solving highly complex tasks has to take into account not only the actual problem solving purpose, but also the process of knowledge elucidation as well as the expertsystem’s existence in an environment with differently trained interacting users, knowledge base updates and corrections.
