Robotic Fish Wireless Communication and Positioning System Design Based on ZigBee

Communication and positioning system are two basic functions for the robotic fish to be applied in the aquatic plant water environment supervision. A system based on ZigBee technology is constructed which can achieve the communication and positioning function simultaneously. The System hardware design and program debugging process are introduced. The practical experiment in the aquatic plant shows the system is valid and meets the design goal. The result indicates that ZigBee system is a appropriate technology to be utilized to the robotic fish in the aquiculture area.
