APPLICATION OF GRAY DYNAMIC MODEL IN PREDICTING CORROSION OF GAS PIPELINE

In gas pipeline , many factors can cause corrosion and are very complex.Corrosion rate and corrosive depth are gray varibles with time.In order to predicting corrosive condition and mastering the fundamental corrosive law in gas pipeline,this paper matched the statistical data of corrosive rate and corrosive depth by using GM model in gray system theory,and built the corresponding gray differential equation and gray time responding function,corrosive rate and depth in Sichuan gas pipeline have been predicted according to the method.The results are very well and provide the reliable basis for the corrosion-proof of gas pipeline.
