Optimal Design of Ship Floating Raft System Power Equipment

Floating raft system is widely used in the vibration isolaton and noise reduction of ship power equipment. This paper, at first, states that vibration level and its difference (the transmissibility) between two components can be expressed by frequency response function. Then based on the frequency response sensitivity analysis, a new optimal design method is presented in which the transmissibility is the optimization objective. Finally, an example demonstrates the feasibility of the method.
