Characterisation of Printed EBG Surfaces for GPS Applications

In this paper, two different EBG substrates are studied. Their behaviour is assessed both in terms of their farfield properties (reflection phase), and transmission characteristics (S21). Their performance is analysed through simulation, using an FDTD-based field solver, and measurements.
