Neural Nets and Motor Trajectories

This paper presents an intro- duction to the use of artificial neural net- works for the management of sensory and motor trajectories. In the approach presented here, the space-time functions representing the trajectories are separated so that the spa- tial parameters are stored in one neural map and the time parameters are stored in a sec- ond neural map. An approach called a neural triangular lattice is suggested for imple- menting the neural maps. Work is continuing to evaluate these procedures.
