The development of a specialized public speaking competency scale: Test of reliability

This essay presents a reliable public speaking competency instrument as an alternative to existing speech competency evaluation forms. Specifically, the study tests a specialized instrument that facilitates a quick response from evaluators. This instrument is more precise in helping evaluators improve confidence and make a quicker judgment concerning students’ performances.
