Self-Similarity as a New Principle for Innovation Processes

Abstract The so-called ‘factory of the future’ will be charaterized by an equilibrated and intelligent mix of technical, organizational and personal efforts. It will be more and more important for enterprises (and other organizations) to manage the parallelism of production process, innovation process and learning process. The paper shows for these processes how to use the fractal principle of natural sciences and how to how to use it for the management of innovation processes.
