SYNTHESIS OF Hm CONTROLLERS BASED ON CONJUGATION

mSTRACT This paper is concerned with the statespace characterization of the model-matching in p. A simple characterization of the solutions is derived in the most general form which covers the so-called four-block problem, based on the new notion of conjugaion. The derivation is elementary, simple and straightforward, and demonstrates that the conjugation is a powerful tool for treating the modelmatching problem in its most general form. The results are applied to Hm control problem to yield a simple controller with the order being identical to the plant order.
