Making Telecommuting Happen: A Guide for Telemanagers and Telecommuters

This book is a guide to telecommuting. It presents both opportunities and risks. It is designed to be a ready reference to the manager of telecommuters, a telecommuter, or both. The book is divided into two parts. Part One, by far the longest, focuses on general management issues, management policy, including site location, the rules of telecommuting, technology requirements, and costs and benefits. Part Two concentrates on the specific aspects of setting up and operating a home office. Appendices provide sample forms for various aspects of the mutual employer-employee agreement on the terms of telecommuting.
