Microprocessor-based active and reactive power measurement

Abstract A dual microprocessor-based system is designed and constructed to provide active and reactive power signals for control applications. The algorithm is based on the Fourier series technique. The design of the associated hardware and software is described, and the results of static and dynamic tests for various load changes are compared with standard measuring devices.
