A Novel Concatenated Fingerprint Code for Multimedia

A novel fingerprint code is constructed by concatenating convolutional code and Hadamard-Walsh code. The statistical correlation properties of the fingerprint code under the interleaving collusion and the averaging collusion with the additional noise are analyzed. Then a proof is given that when the concatenated fingerprint code is employed, the correlation detector can trace some of the colluders with high probability. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the encoding of the fingerprint code is simple and the fingerprinting scheme has better resistance to both the interleaving collusion and the averaging collusion, and more suitable for multimedia carriers with small embeddable capacity.
