Maximum likelihood detection for single carrier — FDMA: Performance analysis

Tight performance bounds are derived for maximum likelihood detection of uncoded SC-FDMA transmission over the Rayleigh fading channel. Closed-form expressions are provided for approximating the lower bound on the BER performance in the high and low SNR regimes. The derived bounds are validated by simulation.
