Software를 이용한 PIR 센서의 성능 향상에 대한 연구

To detect human movement, the use of PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor) has been increased. Therefore in this paper, in order to enhance the sensor performance, a new software approach has been suggested. This study showed the adaptive sensor sensitivity and digital filtering mechanism. Each step sensitivity and object recognition distance were measured, and verified the filtering quality. The adaptive sensor sensitivity and the digital filtering methods can replace the existing method and provide cost reduction. Also these approaches can be applied to many applications where it uses sensor sensitivity.
