Wind Energy to Power a Hydrogen Vehicle

The principal objective of this project was to determine the feasibility of powering a hydrogen-fueled vehicle with wind energy. The hydrogen vehicle will travel 90 miles a day. Feasibility for the system was determined for two locations: Grand Rapids, Michigan and Bandon, Oregon. Analysis includes wind turbine requirements, electrolysis costs and equipment, hydrogen storage and dispensing, a hydrogen vehicle, and wind map research of both locations.
