The QoS class mapping in WLAN and 3GPP LTE interworking network

3GPP LTE and WLAN can complement each other well in theory. In order to solve the interworking between LTE and WLAN better, QoS, as one of those important issues, needs to be considered. In this paper, we analyze the WLAN and LTE interworking network architecture and the QoS mechanisms of LTE and WLAN, and then propose the WLAN and LTE interworking network with PCC architecture which supports the dynamic control of QoS. Finally, we present the QoS class mapping method in the WLAN and LTE interworking network.
