The Shift in EFL Strategies in an Experimental Classroom

Strategies are ways of human responses to the environmental challenges,which allow a certain range of effective responses.Current research in EFL strategies takes the effectiveness of strategies as its major concern,focusing on discovery of the most effective repertoire of strategies in EFL learning and then on how to spoon-feed them into learners.The experiment conducted by the author shows a different approach to research on strategies: improvement of effectiveness in learning strategies through(environmental) changes that stimulate natural selection of viable strategies and rejection of unviable ones.
