An experimental study is conducted to determine the suitability of paraffin wax SUNTECH P116 as a phase change material for storage of thermal energy. Certain temperature-dependent thermophysical properties in the neighborhood of the melting point useful for this study, but not adeguately available in the literature, are measured. They
