An Integrated Framework for Modelling Short- and Long-Run Household Decision-Making

The paper presents a conceptual framework providing a unified, activity based approach for dealing with household-based decision making in both short- and long-run. The model is event driven since decisions always occur in response to events, it is also continuous in time. A fundamental organizing principle of the model is the concept of the project, which is defined as a logically connected set of activities. The concept of stress is proposed to model dynamics in activity scheduling, and heuristics are assumed to model activity scheduling behavior..
