Resolution enhancement of ASTER digital elevation model

The Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) has acquired more than 1 million data with along-track stereovision. These data are processed to make digital elevation model (DEM) with orthorectified images. Using multiple DEMs obtained at different times, it is expected to enhance the spatial resolution. In this work, the methodology to enhance the resolution of DEM, especially Bayesian methodology is discussed.
