FORM CONTENT GENERATION FOR THE AIBD DATABASE

A well-designed database promotes consistent data entry and retrieval, and reduces the existence of duplicate data among the database tables. Relational database tables work together to ensure that the correct data is available when you need it. It's a good idea to plan a database design diagram first. The database built in the context if the CEEX AIBD grant project we created some forms that are automatically linking the measurement data from every farm, depending on the year (Fig. 1) or depending on the indicators (Fig. 2). In Fig. 3 we have the header of the form that contains a centralised view of the results for all the indicators, grouped by farm, month and year. Using the buttons, we can commute between the windows and the information respectively. The software developed for this grant, uses Access SQL queries and VBA routines that provide a mechanism that automatically computes at runtime, the contents for the forms.
