The different influences of four PWM modes on commutation torque ripples in brushless DC motor control system

Four PWM modes used in the brushless DC motor control system are introduced and their different influences on the commutation torque ripple of BLDC motors are analyzed in detail. The best PWM mode to reduce commutation torque ripple, pwm_on type, is selected according to theory and experiment. The experimental results show that the selection is correct and practical.
