A new scheme for message-driven FH system

Based on many good characteristics such as strong anti-jamming property, good compatibility and ability in working under different modes, frequency hopping (FH) system has been widely used in a variety of anti-jamming communication systems. The spectral efficiency in conventional FH communication system is low due to inappropriate use of the available bandwidth. The message-driven frequency-hopping (MDFH) scheme proposed in literature [7] possesses higher spectral efficiency than conventional FH communication system, but the performance of anti fixed-frequency interference is limited. In this paper, based on the idea of MDFH, combining with the error correction coding technique, we propose a new scheme to achieve FH communication. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the ability of anti fixed-frequency interference is significantly improved by the new scheme.
