E-commerce offers buyers and sellers a new form of communication and provides an opportunity to create new marketplaces. This paper introduces the e-commerce integration strategy focused on the issues of resource-based view and its impact on firm performance. When the hard information resources of time, people and computers are wisely used, these make communication a core competence for the company. As the soft information resources are added, that is, the intellectual capital, knowledge sharing and willingness to learn, organizational culture and ideology is developed, which feeds business success. According to the resource-based view, the ability of a firm to develop capabilities enhances its ability to adapt to the changing competitive environment and improves its survival prospects. In this paper, several relationships are examined. 1st: Information resource integration and knowledge sharing would contribute positively to the organizational learning behaviors, and associate with the integration of firm’s soft information resources such as organizational culture and ideology. 2nd: The integration of information resources and the extent of knowledge sharing in a firm would promote its business process improvement initiative. 3rd: Information resource integration and knowledge sharing in a firm would contribute positively to its service standardization integration. 4th: The integration of organizational culture and ideology and learning behaviors practiced by a firm would contribute positively to its service standardization integration. 5th: The extent of business process integration would contribute positively to its service standardization integration. 6th: Business process integration of a firm would associate with its firm performance. 7th: The standardization and quality of services offered by a firm would have a positive effect on its firm performance. The paper finds that information resource integration, business process integration, knowledge sharing and organizational learning behaviors positively affect firm performance.
