Design of Chaotic Colpitts Oscillator with Prescribed Frequency Distribution

The aim of this paper is to provide a guide for the design of chaotic Colpitts oscillator with prescribed frequency distribution. The model and the normalized state equation of the Colpitts circuit are illustrated, and the mathematic expressions of the physical circuit parameters are derived, with which chaotic oscillation with prescribed frequency distribution can be established. The mathematic expressions are verified by circuit simulation with a professional RF and microwave circuit simulator.
