A vehicle includes a communication interface, a storage device and a processing device. The communication interface is configured to communicate via a communication network. The memory device is adapted to store a connectivity map associated with a geographic area. The connectivity map defines a communication quality at several locations in the geographical area. The processing device is adapted to initiate according to the connectivity map a remote data transfer via the communication network.
