An intelligent alarm device for a monitor comprises a data measuring module, a data storage module, a control module and an alarm module. The data measuring module is used for measuring actual physiological parameters of patients, normal regions and different-level abnormal regions of bio-physiological parameters are stored in the data measuring module, and the abnormal regions can be divided into a plurality of abnormal region bodies of different levels according to different parameter ranges; the data measuring module transmits the measured actual bio-physiological parameters to the control module which searches regions matched with the parameters in the data storage module according to the actual parameters; and the control module outputs abnormal signals to the alarm module if the actual bio-physiological parameters are abnormal, and the alarm module sends different alarm according to different abnormal regions. By means of the intelligent alarm device, medical workers can judge current states of patients according to different alarm and take corresponding treatment and cure measures rapidly, so that the treatment and cure efficiency is improved.
