The Numerical Simulation of the Micro-bubbles Drag Reduction in the Bottom of Two-dimensional Approximate Ship Model

The micro-bubble drag reduction is drawing more and more attention among marine energy-saving technologies,however the research into ship drag reduction by micro-bubble is a very complex subject,as many factors are influencing.This paper started with two-dimensional approximate model of the bottom.by analyzing the relationship between drag reduction rate and void fraction,the latter known as an important factor which affects reduction rate.and,carries out the numerical simulation for micro-bubble drag reduction law of the two-dimensional flat.And it analyzes the affecting of void fraction,the main stream velocity,jet velocity,bubble diameter and injecting angle to drag reduction rate.The result shows that by injecting the microbubbles,drag reduction effect can be achieved,and the maximum reduction is up to 85%.
