The research on novel repetitive control technology of inverter

The repetitive control technology is a high cost-performance waveform control technology widely used in the control of inverter. Compensator as the key parts of repetitive controller is usually adopted as the combination of notch filter with second-order filter. The process of designing and debugging of the repetitive controller, which needs more experiences, is very tedious. In this paper, FIR (finite impulse response) digital filter is used to replace the conventional combination compensator as repetitive controller. It can not only realize zero gain and zero phase shift at middle and low frequencies, but also eliminates the resonance peak by high attenuation in certain frequencies to ensure the stability of system. The process of design is very simple and efficient by software tool of Matlab. The detailed design process of FIR digital filter about the novel repetitive control was described through a design example. The outstanding inhibition effect on the periodic disturbance is shown through the results of the experiment with the novel repetitive control and the validity of design is verified.
