Stereotactic Amygdalohippocampotomy and Mesial Temporal Spikes

: Purpose: To investigate the mechanism of mesial temporal spike generation, we sought to determine whether amygdalohippocampotomy by radiofrequency lesions altered spike rates in patients with medically intractable temporal lobe epilepsy.
