Simulation and Analysis of Temperature Control of a Trajectory Bucket in Construction

Based on the material characteristics of a trajectory bucket of hydroelectric station spillway project,simulation procedure was adopted to calculate the temperature and thermal stress field of the spillway trajectory bucket during construction period and operating period under the different pouring time with the finite element analysis software.The results indicate that so long as the reasonable construction plan was chosen,the temperature stress of the trajectory bucket was being able to satisfy the design requirements,if construction progress was strictly according to the implementation scheme and the corresponding temperature control measures.
