Blind Carrier Frequency Offset Estimation for Coherent Optical OFDM Systems

A blind carrier frequency offset estimation algorithm was proposed by utilizing the power variation of zero-subcarriers, which can achieve both stable estimation performance and large estimation range of ±5 GHz by using only one symbol.
