The present invention is made to be a device provided with: a storage unit for storing a first motion picture image and a second motion picture image, which each include a plurality of images which are each associated with time information, and a predetermined image; and a processing unit, wherein the processing unit: extracts from the storage unit a first image of the first motion picture image and a second image of the second motion picture image which have been associated with first time information, and the predetermined image; calculates a first position which is the position of the predetermined image in the first image; calculates a second position which is a position of the predetermined image in the second image; calculates a first difference amount which is the difference amount between the first position and the second position; extracts from the storage unit a third image of the first motion picture image and a fourth image of the second motion picture image which have been associated with second time information which is of the time following the time of the first time information in the first motion picture image; calculates a third position which is the position of the predetermined image in the third image; calculates a fourth position which is the position of the predetermined image in the fourth image; and calculates a second difference amount which is the difference amount between the third position and the fourth position; whereupon if the magnitude of the second difference amount is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the processing unit generates a new fourth image on the basis of the second image, the third image, and the first difference amount.
