A Call Admission Control Strategy for TD-LTE Public Trunking Communication System

With the growth of bandwidth adaptive applications in wireless and mobile networks with different QoS requirements, there is an urgent need for an adaptive bandwidth management scheme which makes use of the flexible bandwidth requirements of these new traffic classes. In this paper, a Call Admission Control (CAC) strategy is proposed based on full consideration of the type of service and the priority of trunking user, in which Initial Access rate Acceleration and Deceleration is adopted. The algorithm improves the flexibility of system resource allocation by using different initial access rate for different services according to their characteristics, Meanwhile, we use deceleration strategy to further ensure the Quality of Service (QoS) of high priority user and services. Compared with existing schemes, the proposed algorithm improves the overall performance of system.
