RADES - Medical Assistance System for the Management of Irradiated Persons

A knowledge-based assistance system in medicine has for legal and ethical reasons special charges, i. e., transparency, explicability, and overrideability. An architecture to achieve these goals is proposed and discussed. A demonstrator for a knowledge-based assistance system for the medical management of accidentally irradiated persons (RADES) is presented.
