Apparatus and method for controlling lock function in portable terminal

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal lock control device and a method thereof are provided to control a lock function by changing the shape of an object outputted on the lock screen. CONSTITUTION: A display unit (106) outputs an image set which comprises a plurality of objects. The display unit outputs the position changes of objects. A memory unit (102) includes more than one module which is operated by a control unit. The module of the memory unit outputs the image set. The module of the memory set changes the positions of objects which are selected by user input. The module of the memory unit controls a lock function if objects are combines or an object is divided according to the position changes.
