A WEB-BASED E-COMMERCE SYSTEM BASED ON INTELLIGENT AGENT AND CASE BASED REASONING

With the increasing importance of electronic commerce in many organizations which offers opportunities to improve the way that businesses interact with both their customers and their suppliers This paper presents a framework that uses the complementary properties of case based reasoning approach and agent technology for developing ECommerce system. Using a standard XML as communication language between agents, is a key to enabling case based reasoning application to integrate with existing information system. In addition, Representational State Transfer (REST) is used to send and retrieve XML data adds simplicity and flexibility to the proposed framework. The results obtained from this work have proven that using CBR with agent technology can increase the intelligence of agents in sales assistances systems.
