Information and equity

Les AA. passent en revue la litterature recente concernant l'egalite sociale sur le plan de l'information et la fracture numerique (digital divide). Elles distinguent entre deux perspectives verticale et horizontale selon que l'inegalite d'acces et d'utilisation de l'information est liee ou pas aux caracteristiques socio-economiques. L'information apparait alors davantage comme un bien public intangible, hautement subjectif et lie au contexte. L'equite dans l'information doit etre obtenue en integrant les deux perspectives dans la formulation d'une politique d'information.
