Classifying heterogeneous presentations of PTSD via the default mode, central executive, and salience networks with machine learning

Highlights • We compared ICNs between PTSD, dissociative subtype PTSD, and healthy controls.• Results revealed unique group connectivity to brain areas associated with PTSD symptoms.• Classification machine learning algorithms predicted diagnosis with high accuracy.• Alterations within ICNs may underlie unique psychopathology among PTSD subtypes.
