Region Extraction with Chromakey Using Striped Backgrounds

In this paper, we propose a new region extraction method with chromakey using a two-tone striped background. The conventional chromakey uses the unicolored blue background, and has a problem that one's clothes are regarded as the background if their colors are same. Therefore, we utilize the adjacency condition between two-tone striped areas on the background, and extract the foreground regions whose colors we same with the background. The validity of proposed method is shown through experiments.
