Discrete-Time Models of Continuous Deterministic Systems

In Chapter 3 we considered only systems that connected an input sequence to an output sequence. However, it is often the case that we are interested in the sampled response of a continuous-time system. This will be the focus of the current chapter. We will show how the discrete-time transfer function relates to the continuous-time transfer function of the underlying system.
