Robust and Optimal Disturbance Isolation Design for MSCA Servo Systems

Isolation of carrier disturbance is the key to measuring the performance of Mobile sat-com antenna(MSCA) servo system. The robust and optimal control technique is adopted to design the controller for the MSCA servo stabilizer, so as to explore the best performance of disturbance isolation the system can achieve. Firstly, the performance of disturbance isolation is explored by the method of loop-shaping and optimal design for nominal system. Based on the disturbance isolation for nominal system, a loop-shaping weight lection is adopted which can adjust the performance conveniently. Then based on the uncertainty model of the plant, the robust disturbance isolation is explored by using the, μ-synthesis method. The results in this work provide a criterion to evaluate the servo performance of the device and give a guidance for the following control system design.
