Opinion dynamics are proximal dynamics in multi-agent network games

In this paper, we show that opinion dynamics in social networks as considered in the literature are proximal dynamics in multi-agent network games. We adopt an operator theoretic perspective to show global convergence to an equilibrium for multi-dimensional, interdependent, constrained opinion dynamics on social networks. We illustrate opinion dynamics on complex networks via numerical simulations.
