Grid resources discovery mechanism based on OSPF routing protocol

In the grid environment, how to find grid resources fast becomes the main factor that affects the grid performance. The traditional centralized resources discovery mechanism cannot satisfy the sufficiency and scalability requirements of the grid. A resource and router-binding topology was brought out. Based on the topology, the link-state routing protocol OSPF (open shortest path first) was improved for grid resources discovery and location. Experiment results and analysis show that the new mechanism has the higher query efficiency and less communications traffic.
