Negotiation processes: an integrated perspective

The paper provides a comprehensive survey of process models of negotiations. We consider models of the substantive process of offer exchange, as well as models focusing on communication content in negotiations, both at the level of individual actions and interactions, and at more aggregate levels. These different models are integrated into a comprehensive framework, and open areas for research are identified.
