Cognitive Processing through the Interaction of Many Agents

A collection of interacting autonomous entities, called ‘agents’, may be capable of creating complex cognitive processes and behaviors, which could not be achieved by a single agent, without the need for outside centralized coordination or control. Keywords: multi-agent systems; emergent behavior; self organization distributed systems; society of agents
