Early Childhood Education and Care in Europe: Tackling Social and Cultural Inequalities.

The Eurydice network is an institutional network of 35 national units, established in all 31 countries taking part in the action programme in the eld of lifelong learning, and a European unit based in the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency in Brussels which coordinates the network. Created by the European Community in 1980, the network eld of education by providing reliable and readily comparable information on education systems and policies in the countries concerned and by producing comparative studies on issues common to European education systems.
