Color Edge Detection Based on Morphology

In this paper we propose a simple and effective fuzzy color image edge detection algorithm. This novel algorithm is different from other color image edge detection algorithms which are based on image enhancement technology, it detect fuzzy edge based on diminishing width of fuzzy edge. It overcomes some disadvantages of the fuzzy edge detection algorithms which are based on image enhancement technology. At last, we give the experiments result of the new algorithm. Experiment indicates the algorithm is a simple, practical, effective color image edge detection algorithm.
