Design of an Adaptive Bilinear Control Algorithm for a Class of Combustion Process

Abstract The design of an adaptive bilinear control algorithm for a class of combustion process is described. The inherent nonlinearities of the process are incorporated into the design of the control law. The presented algorithm ensures that its nonlinear nature accounts for dynamic changes of the process and its adaptive features accommodate changes in the process parameters. Numerical simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented control algorithm.
